Watch ‘This Means War’ Star Reese Witherspoon’s First MTV Interview From 1991!

Before she faced a formidable “Fear,” or dyed her hair “Legally Blonde,” or learned to “Walk the Line,” starlet Reese Witherspoon was just a Southern teen cutting her acting teeth on her first film role: the 1991 romantic drama “The Man in the Moon.” And in anticipation of our upcoming MTV First: Reese Witherspoon (airing Tuesday at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV), we took a trip to the MTV vault to unearth this long-lost clip of Reese talking about that early role—all the way back in 1991. (So, like, before some of you were even born!)

With a now almost-non-existent twang and a self-assuredness rare for most teens, the 15-year-old dished about why she got into acting. “I just thought, I always wanted to do something really outgoing ’cause when I was little I was really kind of quiet, but you know, I’d always be really creative at home and stuff, and finally I started, you know, speaking out and doing little things to impress everybody,” she recalled.

So the youngster went about honing her craft, discovering along the way that acting was, indeed, her calling. “I started taking little acting classes and improv classes and, you know, [that] turned out to be what I was going to do,” she said. “I was always going to do something really out there, really far away. Does that make any sense? No, not really.”

An Oscar later, we’re pretty sure she made the right decision.

Don’t miss Reese talking all things “This Means War” (her upcoming rom-com co-starring the always-hunky Chris Pine and Tom Hardy) on Tuesday at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV. Following the on-air segment, the actress and MTV News’ Josh Horowitz will take their 30-minute interview online to MTV.com.

Anthony Mackie Hopes Robert Pattinson Can Get Him A Role In ‘Twilight: Part 6′

File this one under Random Yet Notable. It has come to our attention that our favorite Robert Pattinson and fellow actor/all-around likable guy Anthony Mackie are total BFFs. Well, I’m saying BFFs; they’re saying “good friends.” The point is, while I like to think everyone knows everyone else in Hollywood, I had no idea Rob and Anthony are bros.

When MTV News caught up with Anthony recently during the press day for his upcoming heist/thriller “Man On a Ledge,” talk somehow turned to the subject of vampires and the fact that Anthony wants to be in a sixth “Twilight” movie.

“Rob, a good friend of mine, we were actually hanging out last night. I told him, ‘Man, you know I gotta be in that “Twilight: Part Six.'” He told me he’s going to look out for me.”

Yes, I’m aware that here are currently no plans for a “Twilight: Part Six,” but I was too distracted by the revelation about this new celeb bromance to ask more details about that. Instead I asked Anthony how on earth he and Rob became friends.

“Me and Rob have been hanging out forever,” he said. “He’s a good dude.”

In knowing how Rob likes to karaoke with his dude friends, I then asked Anthony if they’ve ever hit the karaoke bars together or sung duets.

“No, no. I saw him do karaoke. I was a little bit too shy to get up there,” Anthony admitted. “He sang this Billy Joel song, that’s when we did this Billy Joel, Billy Ocean medley. [It was] really crazy but it worked out.”

Even better, Anthony revealed that Rob taught him how to do the all-important Edward Cullen Suspense Look, which he was all too happy to demonstrate for me.

“How’s that? It’s good, huh? I’m telling you, I’m working on it. There’s got to be a black vampire. [We have] sweet blood, come on.” (Um, hello! What about Laurent?)

So what does Rob think about Anthony making an appearance in a future “Twilight” movie?

“He’s down. We hang out more than we work together,” he said. “He’s my dude.”

And just an FYI, Anthony is also best buds with a couple other favorites: Ryan Gosling (he and The Gos were in the movie “Half Nelson” together, as well as the upcoming “Gangster Squad”) and Jeremy Renner (from their work on “The Hurt Locker”).

Even Bradley Cooper Agrees: Ryan Gosling Is One Sexy Man

Vindication is ours! Sorta.

We had a few choice words for People magazine last month when they named 36-year-old Bradley Cooper Sexiest Man Alive, rather than our very deserving boyfriend Ryan Gosling. And as it turns out, the “Hangover” star himself kinda sees our point.

Appearing on “The Graham Norton Show,” Bradley good-naturedly addressed his recently bestowed title and the ensuing pro-Gosling fervor. “It’s so awful I’m admitting this, but the hell with it because there was such a backlash when they announced it. And Ryan Gosling, who I love, and I just did a movie with him, and he’s the greatest,” he enthused.

Bradley went on to recall a “friend” sending him a link to a site comparing the two hunks. “And when I say ‘friend,’ I mean me alone, looking at the computer,” he joked. “It’s [Ryan] walking around, and he literally looks like he’s in a photo shoot, like he just came off the runway. The pea coat is like this [miming an upturned collar], with the scarf! And then there’s ones of me, and I literally look like the neighbor who never really comes out of his house. So it’s been interesting.”

Now, we never questioned Bradley’s sexiness in our protest post; we simply pointed out the fact that Ryan (in addition to his drop-dead dreaminess) had a much more highlight-filled year than Mr. Cooper. So we’re totally fine admitting we’re pretty charmed by Bradley’s self-deprecating sense of humor in this clip. Way to stay classy, guy. That is sexy.

Taylor Swift Makes Snow Globes: Other Bizarre Celebrity Hobbies

by Emily Laurence

Sigh. Even Taylor Swift’s hobbies are enchanting. The singer/baker/knitter recently got in the holiday spirit by making snow globes with her friends. That girl really knows how to get the party started, amirite? Taylor posted a pic to her Instagram calling their creations, “Christmas in a jar, with glitter.”

We here at Hollywood Crush are all for a quirky hobby, so we rounded up other unusual ways celebs spend their spare time. Check them out after the jump!

Justin Bieber masters the Rubik’s cube
This may be the real reason Justin is famous. When he was just a budding celeb, Justin solved a Rubik’s cube in under two minutes. In multiple interviews. Over and over. A hair flip and a Rubik’s cube—that’s how he used to get the ladies. No mistletoe needed.

Mila Kunis is a gamer
As if guys need another reason to drool over Mila. The actress told Jimmy Kimmel that her favorite hobby was playing World of Warcraft. She also told GQ she was a “massive Trekkie” and ranked her favorite “Star Trek” series. WoW is right.

Johnny Depp plays with Barbies
Johnny revealed his true life talent saying, “I’ve played with a lot of Barbies and Kens for my kids. It’s actually one of the few things I’m good at.” (That we highly doubt…) Here’s hoping Barbie keeps her convertible safe from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” action figures!

Simon Cowell climbs trees
Deep, deep down, Simon really is just one big kid at heart. “I climb trees daily. It’s like a ritual,” he revealed in an interview. And that’s not the only way he channels his inner 8-year-old. “I like cartoons every morning. I like ‘The Flintstones’, ‘The Jetsons,’ all the old ones. I watch them in the morning to put me in a good mood,” he said.
